Our Mission

We aim to develop and build a good self-concept by creating situations in which our young learners are able to achieve success. We facilitate a sense of self-worth in our learners. This includes being respected for who and what they are, by their peers and teachers. Our most important objective is to achieve a level of readiness for formal schooling in Grade One. We assist him in acquiring the readiness skills whilst in a play-environment

Who we are

We are a state dependent school, registered with the Western Cape Education Department. We offer quality early childhood education to learners who turn 6 in their Gr R year or 5 in Pre-Gr R until Gr 7. We guide the learners to reach their full potential, at their own pace – in a safe, stimulating environment. Our learners are encouraged to think critically and divergently, to cope independently and to problem solve in a creative manner. Our Learning programs are diverse and encompass the development of the child holistically and meets the requirements of the Curriculum Assessment Policy Statement. We aim to develop and build a good self-concept by creating situations in which our young learners are able to achieve success.

Extra Activities

Over and above these stimulating activities, we also offer a wide choice of optional extra-mural activities which include: Ballet, Chess, Netball, Karate, Mini-Cricket (Summer), Mini-Rugby (Winter), Modern Dance, CMaths and Abacus Maths We have a fully qualified, highly motivated, enthusiastic staff. Each educator is committed to providing an enriched and structured environment
